NEARLY $14,000 OF VALUABLE PRODUCTS DOLED OUT TO PACE RUSH SPRINT CAR RACERS FOR "MANUFACTURERS NIGHT" PRESENTED BY MSD PERFORMANCE AT LERNERVILLE ON JULY 23

(Pulaski, PA)...The Pace Performance RUSH Sprint Car Series together with Sweeney Chevrolet Buick GMC held its fourth annual "Manufacturers Night" presented by MSD Performance on July 23 at Lernerville Speedway part of the "RUSH Summer Showcase" event. A record amount of nearly $14,000 of valuable products was awarded to the 22 competing racers.
Later that night, 2018 and 2019 champion, Chad Ruhlman, captured the feature win and would also win on Saturday night at Pittsburgh's PA Motor Speedway to propel him into the points lead of the $5,000 to-win Equipment Rental Options Weekly Series Championship. In addition to his $600 victory each night, Ruhlman was the recipient of a drum of methanol from Insinger Performance, two Race Jugs from Precise Racing Products, and a $100 gift certificate from Benic Enterprises.
Brian Hartzell, who finished eighth in the feature, was the big winner of the night. Not only did the 49-year-old Oil City, Pa. racer win the grand prize of a Yamaha Generator from Alternative Power Sources, but was one of three lucky drivers to win multiple prize packages. In the second round, Hartzell captured the third top prize of TBM Brake calipers. His total products winnings totaled $2,225!
Rookie racer Kevin Kaserman of Middlefield, Ohio made the two-hour drive to Lernerville for his first appearance at the famed Sarver, Pa. oval. While Kaserman finished 20th in the feature, he was another driver lucky enough to win two product packages. Kaserman took home the second top prize of a Lincoln Electric Power Mid 140C welder and utility cart valued at $1,175 and also a Jones Racing Products SBC Radius Tooth Water Pump Belt Drive System worth $410! Kaserman's total take in products was $1,585!
Second year racer Brian Cressley, who leads the "Futures Cup" points was the other driver lucky enough to win two prizes. The 16-year-old from Corry, Pa. won a drivers suit from Velocita-USA and two Hoosier RUSH Sprint Car tires worth $1,085.
Included in the 22-car field were Jordan Hamilton of Collier Township, Pa. and Jeff Metsger of Lebanon, Pa., who both made their first ever RUSH Sprint Car start. Metsger finished 17th, while Hamilton came home 19th.
"We can't thank the more than 20 companies that participated in the Sprint Car Manufacturers Night," expressed RUSH Director Vicki Emig. "These tremendous marketing partners allowed each of the 22 competing racers to leave with a product package of a minimum of $345. Each year, the dollar value of the giveaways have increased and we look forward to that trend continuing in the future as these great partners continue to support our Series."
