June 11, 2021               FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

(Pulaski, PA)...The Pace Performance RUSH Sprint Car Series together with Sweeney Chevrolet Buick GMC is gearing up for a huge week of competition.  The RUSH Sprints will be at Sharon Speedway on Tuesday (June 15) with the FloRacing All Star Circuit of Champions Sprint Cars followed by a pair of $1,000 to-win, $175 to-start Equipment Rental Options Weekly Series specials on back-to-back nights just 15 miles apart in McKean County, Pennsylvania with Saturday night (June 19) at McKean County Raceway and Sunday evening at Bradford Speedway.

Tuesday will mark the third appearance of the season by the Pace RUSH Sprint Cars at Sharon Speedway where they are presented by Terry Bowser Excavating.  Tuesday will be another Sprint Car doubleheader at Sharon as Ohio Speedweek for the All Stars makes a stop at the Hartford, Ohio oval.  The event will also be broadcast live on FloRacing following tremendous exposure on DIRTVision on May 22 with the World of Outlaws NOS Energy Sprint Cars.

Sixty-one-year-old Rod George won the May 22 show at Sharon, while 17-year-old Nolan Groves won his first career race last Saturday night doing it from the 12th starting spot over the record 23-car field!   There have been eight different RUSH Sprint Car winners in 11 races run all-time at Sharon as Chad Ruhlman is the only driver with multiple victories at four.

After not operating each of the past two seasons, McKean is under new management in 2021 led by Close Racing Supply owner Joel Smith and former promoter Ken Leet.  MCR has completed one show this season on May 27 and is running a specials-only slate of events that includes the RUSH Late Models and RUSH Pro Mods.  Bradford meanwhile had an excellent first season under Dennis Cummings despite the pandemic and has completed two events thus far in 2021.  Bradford features the RUSH Late Models and RUSH Pro Mods weekly.

During the inaugural 2018 season for the RUSH Sprint Cars, Chad Ruhlman won both shows at Bradford and the one and only race ever held at McKean.  The RUSH Sprints then made one appearance at Bradford in 2019, which was won by Bradley Blackshear for his first career Series win.

"This will be a tremendous week for our Series," stated RUSH Director Vicki Emig.  "To be in front of big crowd at Sharon with the All Stars and have national coverage on Flo is great exposure for our racers and RUSH.  Then to have two $1000 to-win races just 15 miles apart on successive nights is awesome.  McKean has done some reconfiguration to their 1/3-mile track to make the racing better, while our past shows at Bradford on the 1/4-mile bullring were very exciting."

The RUSH Sprints have competed six times this year around the circuit with five different winners.  The only repeat winner is Gale Ruth, Jr.  The father-son duo of Chad Ruhlman and Kevin Ruhlman have also been victorious.  The battle of the $5,000 to-win Equipment Rental Options Weekly Series Championship is very tight as just nine points separate the top five racers!  Groves is the current point lead by four over two-time champion Chad Ruhlman.  George and Ruth are tied for third just one-point behind Ruhlman.  Blaze Myers is having a consistent start to his first full season of RUSH Sprint racing as he sits fifth.  Brian Cressley leads the "Futures Cup" points.
